Shaw Names Stephen R. Tritch to Board of Directors

The Shaw Group Inc. (NYSE: SGR) today announced Stephen R.
Tritch has been named to the company�s board of directors.
Mr. Tritch is chairman of Westinghouse Electric Company, a group
company of Toshiba Corporation and a leading supplier of nuclear
power plant products and technologies to utilities throughout the
world. He has been employed by Westinghouse since 1971 and
previously served as president and chief executive officer of the
company.
A member of the American Nuclear Society, Mr. Tritch was
appointed by President Bush to the President�s Export Council. He
is also chairman of the Engineering Board of Visitors at the
University of Pittsburgh and chairman of the board of trustees for
the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.
