Item 5.02Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Kekin M. Ghelani, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer of Summit Materials, Inc. (the “Company”), will be leaving the Company effective August 22, 2024. Mr. Ghelani’s departure constitutes a termination without “cause” under the Company’s severance plan.

Effective upon Mr. Ghelani’s departure, the Company’s growth and strategy functions will report directly to Anne Noonan, the Company’s President, Chief Executive Officer and Director.
