The Thai Fund, Inc. (NYSE: TTF) (the �Fund�) today announced that,
effective immediately, the members of the Emerging Markets Equity
team primarily responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Fund
are Munib Madni, an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley Investment
Management Inc. (�MSIM�), Ruchir Sharma, a Managing Director of
MSIM, and James Cheng, a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley
Investment Management Company. The Fund is a non-diversified,
closed-end management investment company, the shares of which are
listed on the New York Stock Exchange (TTF). The Fund�s investment
