Nearly 3,000 users attend technology conference in San Antonio

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) hosted nearly 3,000 public sector clients from 54 North American states and provinces and two U.S. territories during Connect, the company’s annual educational gathering for users. The event, held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, was the largest Connect conference since the meetings first began in 2008 with multiple Tyler products.

Tyler Connect is an excellent opportunity for users of Tyler products to learn about functionality, exchange ideas, and view highlights of future developments. The conference kicked off with an opening session featuring a welcome speech from San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro, followed by three days of more than 800 training sessions in 30 educational tracks. Many of the sessions included presentations and discussions on mobility, cloud solutions, paperless and citizen engagement initiatives.

In comments to clients during the opening session, Tyler Technologies President and Chief Executive Officer John S.
