Tyler’s Munis solution to help increase productivity and drive operational efficiencies

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced that the city of Glendale, California, has selected Tyler’s Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to replace the city’s legacy financial and human resource systems. The agreement includes software licenses, related professional services, training and support.

Glendale officials wanted a proven ERP solution for the public sector that would deliver robust reporting and integrate with core city systems to provide transparency for residents, the mayor, city council, and staff across 14 departments. After a competitive review, Glendale chose Munis applications, including financial, human resources and payroll, and general revenues.

The city chose Munis as part of its plan to leverage modern technologies that can improve business processes while helping city employees enhance services provided to the community. Glendale employees, residents and external agencies will be able to use Munis to automate many services and drive productivity gains by eliminating redundant tasks.

The city will benefit from Tyler’s evergreen perpetual licensing approach that provides regular and significant, yet manageable, software enhancements without an additional relicensing fee, ensuring all systems are on the latest technology.

Glendale joins Santa Monica and other Southern California municipalities in recently selecting Munis to help improve business operations.

Located about six miles north of downtown Los Angeles, Glendale has more than 1,500 full-time employees and approximately 199,000 residents, making it the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County.
