Everyone can now access WatchFree+ with hundreds of free, live channels in the VIZIO Mobile App on iOS and Android

Today, VIZIO (NYSE: VZIO) announced its popular WatchFree+ service has been expanded to the VIZIO mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Users can now take over 300 channels wherever they go, even if they don’t have a VIZIO TV. WatchFree+ users can enjoy the latest local sports, news and their favorite entertainment programming – on-the-go, no matter where they are.

WatchFree+ allows users to pick up where they left off on their VIZIO TV at home directly on their phone, so they never miss a second of their favorite show. Users can continue watching the latest news from CNN Headlines during their morning commute or catch up on their fan-favorite series such as Bachelor Nation or The Walking Dead Universe while they wait to board a plane. Building on the popularity of the existing VIZIO mobile app that allows users to control VIZIO TVs and soundbars, this latest update also includes a Home tab that serves as a central discovery point. This allows users to organize and launch their “favorite” apps to their VIZIO TV as well as explore TV show and movie recommendations.
