Kansas City, Mo. Welcomes ExpressJet Airlines, Young Fleet And
Non-Stop Routes With Upgraded Service To Kansas City International
Airport KANSAS CITY, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Beginning
today, ExpressJet Airlines starts ticket sales from Kansas City
International Airport for non- stop service to: Austin,
Jacksonville, Fla., New Orleans, Raleigh/Durham, Louisville, Los
Angeles/Ontario, and Tucson. Airport officials pointed out that,
with today's announcement, Kansas Citians enjoy nonstop service to
64 destinations, including 44 of the top 50. These six new routes
will play a key role in growing the regional economy and make it
much easier for local industry to conduct business face to face.

50- seat Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft are configured with no middle
seat, assigning every ExpressJet passenger a seat on the aisle,
window, or both. ExpressJet branded service will also offer an
improved customer experience with valet carry-on bag service and
complimentary recognized name-brand snacks with full service meal
options on longer flights. "We thought Kansas City was the right
market for ExpressJet because we can provide value by saving our

our customers will be able to relax on a non-stop flight, in a
comfortable leather seat with more than 100 channels of free XM(R)
Satellite Radio." With its entrance into the market, ExpressJet
plans to hire about 30 employees and invest more than $450,000 in

are available for sale through most distribution channels for
service originating from six markets: Los Angeles/Ontario,
Sacramento, San Diego, San Antonio, Austin and New Orleans, to
destinations in: Kansas City, Albuquerque, Spokane, Boise, Tucson,
Omaha, Jacksonville, Fla., Birmingham, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma
City, Tulsa, Louisville, Monterey, Calif., Bakersfield, Fresno, El
