Proactive - Interviews for investors
Oriole Resources reports strong gold grades at Mbe
Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) executive director Claire Bay talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the latest results from the maiden drilling program at the Mbe Gold Project in Cameroon. The company has released results for holes 3 and 4, with hole 3 delivering the highest-grade mineralisation to date, including 4.24m at 7.7g/t gold and 8m at 1.03g/t gold. Bay highlighted that these results support the significant geochemical footprint already identified at the site. The first 150m of hole 3 averaged 0.48g/t gold, demonstrating mineable widths of mineralisation. The program, now over 30% complete, continues to confirm a strong gold presence, with over 60 mineralised intervals recorded so far. She explained that the structural controls at Mbe are becoming clearer, with north-northwest trends delivering higher-grade intersections. These align with surface sampling results, where grades reached up to 250g/t gold. Looking ahead, Oriole Resources expects a steady stream of results in the coming months as drilling continues. The company plans to complete a mineral resource estimate later this year, with a second major anomaly to the north of the current target set for future drilling. #OrioleResources #GoldMining #Cameroon #GoldExploration #MiningUpdates #DrillingResults #Investing #MiningNews #GoldStocks

West Cobar Metals' high-grade copper discovery: Bulla Park delivers exceptional results
West Cobar Metals Ltd (ASX:WC1) managing director Matt Szwedzicki talked with Proactive's Jonathan Jackson about the company’s latest metallurgical results from the Bulla Park project. Early-stage testing has delivered high-grade copper, silver, and antimony concentrates with strong recoveries. Szwedzicki described the initial float test results as amazing. A key challenge at Bulla Park has been the presence of tetrahedrite, a less common mineral in Australia. However, recent testing has demonstrated successful separation and recovery processes. The company has now achieved 88% extraction of antimony, a commodity that has surged in value due to reduced exports from China. Szwedzicki also discussed West Cobar’s broader strategy, including plans to optimise metallurgical processes, assess a mineral resource estimate, and advance drilling at Bulla Park. Beyond this, the company is progressing its Salazar project in Western Australia, which holds rare earths, scandium, and alumina resources. The recent acquisition of the Mystique Gold Project further strengthens West Cobar’s portfolio, adding a promising gold exploration target. Stay tuned for more updates from West Cobar Metals. TNR Gold chair welcomes progress at McEwen Copper's Los Azules copper project in Argentina
TNR Gold Corp (TSX-V:TNR, OTC:TRRXF) executive chairman Kirill Klip talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest developments, including a key milestone in its transition to a cash-flow-generating royalty business. Klip highlighted that TNR Gold holds royalties on significant projects, including the Los Azules Copper project and the Mariana Lithium project in Argentina. With Los Azules now applying for Argentina's incentive regime for large investments, he explained that the project could see substantial tax reductions, making it easier to attract the $2.7 billion investment required for construction. Discussing Argentina’s economic reforms under President Javier Milei, Klip noted that the country's policies are encouraging large-scale investment in the mining sector. He also pointed to the environmental permit secured for Los Azules, bringing it closer to a construction decision, with a feasibility study expected in the first half of the year. Klip also shared insights from Fundamental Research Corporation’s latest analysis, which increased its price target for TNR Gold from $0.24 to $0.28, underscoring the company's transition from a project generator to a cash-flow-generating royalty company. Immunic presents at ACTRIMS forum as it awaits key CALLIPER MS trial data
Immunic Therapeutics chief medical officer Dr Andreas Muehler talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's strong presence at the 10th annual ACTRIMS Forum, where it presented two key posters on multiple sclerosis (MS). He highlighted that Immunic’s investigational drug, vidofludimus calcium, has potential neuroprotective properties that may benefit both relapsing and progressive MS patients. One of the posters examined baseline characteristics of past progressive MS trials and contrasted them with Immunic’s CALLIPER trial, designed for non-relapsing patients with minimal inflammatory activity. The second poster explored preclinical data on the drug’s mechanism of action, emphasizing its potential to target activated microglia and support neuron survival. Muehler noted significant engagement from the MS community at ACTRIMS, with many keenly anticipating the CALLIPER trial’s readout in April. “It’s really one of the very few late-stage drugs with a potential neuroprotective effect,” he said, adding that the data could provide new hope for progressive MS patients who currently have limited treatment options.
