Passenger traffic
In November 2009, passenger traffic at Aéroports de Paris
(Paris:ADP) (Pink Sheets:AEOPF) decreased by 1.3% compared with
November 2008. Paris airports handled a total of 6.1 million
passengers divided up between 4.2 million for Paris-Charles de
Gaulle (-2.2%) and 1.9 million for Paris-Orly (+0.7%).
- International traffic (excluding
Europe) decreased by 1.3%. Traffic on routes to and from Africa
increased by 2.0%. Traffic on North American routes fell by 4.1%
while Latin America dropped by 2.7%. On Middle Eastern routes,
traffic dropped by 5.5% while Asia was almost stable at 0.2%;
- European traffic (excluding
France) fell by 3.0% including -2.1% on Schengen routes and -6.0%
for the British and Irish markets;
- Domestic traffic was up
1.3%;
- The number of connecting
passengers increased by 0.3% in November 2009 compared with
November 2008 resulting in a connecting rate of 25.4% (against
25.1% in November 2008).
For the first eleven months of the year, passenger traffic
decreased by 4.9%. For the same period, the number of connecting
passengers decreased by 3.0% resulting in a connecting rate of
24.7% (against 24.2% for the first eleven months of 2008).

Aircraft movements
The number of aircraft movements saw a 2.2% decrease in November
2009 year on year
(including -3.8% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and +1.6% at
Paris-Orly). The passenger load factor reached 70.9% compared with
71.0% in November 2008.
