The Company has today applied for admission to AIM of 9,000 new ordinary shares
of 10p each which have been allotted under the terms of the Connaught Plc
Executive Share Option Scheme. Of the 9,000 shares allotted, 7,000 were
exercised at a price of #1.25 and 2,000 at a price of #2.08. Admission to AIM is
expected to become effective on 27 June 2003.
