Mr Stephen Jones, a director of The Chepstow Racecourse PLC ("Chepstow" or "the
Company"), notified the Company on 26 November 2003 that on that day he
purchased 7,760 ordinary shares, representing 0.02 per cent. of the issued share
capital, at 200 pence per share.

Following this transaction Mr Jones is beneficially interested in 100,000
ordinary shares representing 0.28 per cent. of Chepstow's issued share capital.
