FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CSC (NYSE:CSC) announced today that the U.S. Air Force's Air Mobility Command (AMC) has awarded the company a contract to provide applications infrastructure and systems support services. The contract has a one-year base period and three one-year options, bringing the estimated total four-year value to $50 million. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company's fourth quarter fiscal 2009 and the value was included in the May 20, 2009, earnings results announcement for the company's fourth quarter fiscal 2009. Systems and programs within the command and control system include the Advanced Computer Flight Plan, Airlift Service Industrial Fund Integrated Computer System, Commercial Operations Integrated System, Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System, Global Air Transportation Execution System, Worldwide Port System, Global Command and Control System and Global Decision Support System.
