DTE Energy Foundation Names Finalists for Achieving Excellence Awards

DETROIT, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy Foundation has announced
the finalists for its 2008 Achieving Excellence Awards, Michigan's
largest corporate grant competition for nonprofits. The competition
recognizes the state's exemplary nonprofit organizations with
grants totaling up to $400,000 in five categories: Collaboration,
Innovation, Leadership, Merger and Sustainability. The winners will
be announced June 3. Finalists for the 2008 Achieving Excellence

Centers Inc., Detroit Salvation Army Harbor Light (Eastern

Entrepreneurship Institute, Inc., Detroit Forgotten Harvest, Inc.,
Oak Park Grandmont/Rosedale Development Corp., Detroit Leadership
Detroit Executive Service Corps, Southfield Detroit Chamber Winds,
Southfield Judson Center, Inc., Royal Oak Junior Achievement of the
Michigan Great Lakes, Grand Rapids Merger ArtServe Michigan, Wixom
Michigan Nonprofit Association, Lansing Think Detroit PAL, Detroit

considered for the Achieving Excellence Awards, organizations must
be tax-exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code
and be located within DTE Energy's service area. The DTE Energy
