EDS Extends Exchange Date for Senior Notes
PLANO, Texas, Nov. 14 -- EDS (NYSE: EDS) today announced that it is further
extending the expiration date of its offer to exchange all of its outstanding
6.0% Senior Notes due 2013, Series A for its 6.0% Senior Notes due 2013, Series
B, which has been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
As a result of the additional extension, the exchange offer is now
scheduled to expire at 5 p.m., Eastern Time, on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003. The
exchange offer, which was originally set to expire at 5 p.m., on Monday,
Nov. 10, 2003, was previously extended until 5 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2003. As of
5 p.m., on Nov. 13, 2003, $1,097,466,000 aggregate principal amount of the
outstanding notes had been tendered for exchange.
Except for the extension of the expiration date, all of the other terms of
the exchange offer remain as set forth in the exchange offer prospectus. This
news release is not an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy
any securities of EDS.
