ENTERPRISE VENTURE CAPITAL TRUST PLC ('ENTERPRISE VCT')


OFFER FOR SUBSCRIPTION OF NEW A SHARES ('THE OFFER')


The Directors of Enterprise VCT have announced an allotment on Tuesday 30th
September 2003 of 119,392 new A Shares pursuant to the Offer. The Offer Price at
which the new A Shares were issued was 92 pence per new A Share.


Dealings in the new A Shares are expected to commence on Friday 3rd October 2003
and definitive documents of title are expected to be despatched by Wednesday 8th
October 2003.


The Directors of Enterprise VCT also announce that, by resolution of the Board,
the Offer has been extended and will remain open until 30 November 2003.
