The distributions are being accelerated to coincide with the closing of the merger between Eaton Vance National Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Alternext US: FEV) and Eaton Vance Municipal Income Trust (NYSE:EVN) prior to the opening of business on May 28, 2009. The record date for both distributions is May 26, 2009, and the payable date is May 28, 2009 for the FEV distribution and June 2, 2009 for the EVN distribution. The ex-date is May 21, 2009.
