Shareholders at Fraport AG's 12th regular Annual General Meeting (AGM) ratified the recommendation of the executive and supervisory boards to pay a dividend of €1.25 per share for the last  completed fiscal year - the same dividend paid out for the 2010 and 2011 business years.  A total of 1,361 shareholders and shareholder representatives attended today's AGM at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt-Höchst.  Karlheinz Weimar, Fraport's supervisory board chairman and former Hesse minister of finance, chaired the AGM.

All members of Fraport's executive board and supervisory board received shareholder's approval of the actions for the business year 2012. In addition, the shareholders elected Kathrin Dahnke (executive board member of Gildemeister AG) and Uwe Becker (city treasurer of Frankfurt am Main) as new members of the Fraport supervisory board.  Also standing for election for the first time were Peter Feldmann (Lord Mayer of the City of Frankfurt) and Michael Odenwald (minister of state in the German Ministry of Transport) - both named via judicial appointment in 2012 to join the supervisory board. Re-elected members included Dr. Margarete Haase (executive board member of Deutz AG), Jörg-Uwe Hahn (Hesse Minister of Justice), Lothar Klemm (former Hesse minister of state; lawyer), Stefan Lauer (executive board member of Deutsche Lufthansa AG),

Karlheinz Weimar (former Hesse minister of finance; member of the Hesse parliament) and Prof. Katja Windt (professor and director of Jacobs University Bremen).

At the end of the AGM, Fraport AG's supervisory board members reconfirmed Karlheinz Weimar as the board's chairman.
