                               DIRECTORS DEALINGS


The Company has been notified that James Donald Hanson, a non-executive director
of the Company, acquired 1,250,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company
("Shares") today, Wednesday 20 August 2003, at a price of 17p per Share.

As a result of this transaction, Mr Hanson now has a beneficial interest in
2,860,909 Shares, representing approximately 5.92 per cent. of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
