The Company has been advised by Legendary Investments Plc under Sections
203-206, 208 and 212 of Companies Act 1985 ("the Act") that as at 3 March 2003
they no longer hold a sufficient declarable interest in Moss Bros Group Plc.



At the same time the Company has been advised by Mr Shami Ahmed under Sections
203-206, 208 and 212 of the Act that he has an interest in 5,316,932 ordinary
shares of 5 pence each ("the Shares") in the Company.   These Shares are held
through Cantor Fitzgerald with full voting rights (disclosure pursuant to
Section 208(4)(b)) of the Act.



The 5,316,932 Shares represents an interest of 5.836% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
