Longbridge International Plc ("the Company")

The Company announces that despite the profit of #98,000 for the half year to 30
June 2002, announced on 5 September 2002, it expects to incur a loss for the
full year to 31 December 2002. The loss reflects the difficult trading
environment that the Company has encountered during the second half of the year.
