The MM's don't need to sell any shares below the ask or above the bid. As a general rule, the MM's will take any difference for themselves. This was very odd - on rare occasions, maybe, but this frequently with a wall on the ask? No way...and I have been trading for a very long time.

The difference between 12 months and the 10 months is the time from the NDA receipt by the FDA to when the FDA assigns an PDUFA date. That time can be up to 60 days. Once a PDUFA date is assigned the below time frames apply.
