Interim Dividend

Progressive Geared Income Trust plc announces that the board of directors has today, 22 October 2003,
declared an interim dividend of 0.3p per ordinary share.

The following dates are applicable to the dividend payment:

Ex dividend date - 5 November 2003

Record date - 7 November 2003

Payment - 15 December 2003

This dividend is the first interim dividend for the year ending 30 June 2004.  The Board's present
intention is to maintain the level of interim dividend payments at 0.3p per share in respect of the next
two quarters of the current financial year.
