Electrolux and Software AG today will discuss real-time process visibility at the Gartner BPM Summit, Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, April 2-4.

Electrolux, a global manufacturer selling more than 40 million products annually in more than 150 markets, will speak of its experience in launching a new distribution channel and implementing a new process management business application to do so.

Electrolux will share best practices and lessons learned. To meet the project’s business requirements, the company implemented a supply chain solution to deliver a consumer-driven order and delivery model. With this process Electrolux was able to quickly identify problems in the order-to-ship process.

“We have always been an innovative company, so taking a leap to embark on a new business model is really part of our DNA,” said Jean Lastowka, Director of BPM, Electrolux. “Deploying a solution that offers real-time insight into processes, orders and inventory allowed us to have more focus on exception management and make rapid decisions that benefit both our company and customers alike.”

Dave Brooks, Vice President of Supply Chain Innovation at Software AG, will also highlight the business approach and technology Electrolux used. Brooks was named a 2013 “Pro to Know” in the supply chain industry.

In addition to the presentation, Software AG showcases its webMethods and ARIS technology in Booth #200 with ongoing product demonstrations.
