Tecteon plc ("Tecteon" or "Company"), the software developer for the voice
quality and telecommunications markets, announces that it has been awarded a
contract by DSPG Limited ("DSPG"), a well established UK based
telecommunications company, to provide 2 echo-cancellation products. The
products will be integrated in a test-bed providing Voice Quality for a leading
international satellite service provider, Inmarsat Ltd.

The Tecteon solution was provided as standalone hardware based on a Texas
Instrument C6000 DSP chipset.

Masoud Ahmadi, Managing Director, Tecteon plc commented:

"Although small this sale is important to Tecteon. Like the recent sale to
KT-NGN ("Korean Telecom Next Generation Networks") it forms a relationship with
a recognised market leader. The collaboration with DSPG confirms that we do
indeed have unique technology that major companies have a requirement for and
this sale opens up a new market for our products within the satellite
communications industry. The solution provided has been required by the
satellite communication market for some time, so following the test period we
expect to receive further orders.

"We are continuing to make progress, we have completed the product development,
marketing is underway and we are optimistic that we will receive our first
significant order in the first quarter of 2004."
