Kelsey-Hayes to Close Fremont, Ohio Plant FREMONT, Ohio, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TRW Automotive's Kelsey- Hayes subsidiary announced today its decision to close its Kingsway manufacturing facility by December 2006. Plans are to consolidate Kingsway plant operations into other existing company facilities in North and South America. "We do not currently have the volume of business to support Kingsway's manufacturing capacity, and pricing and competitive pressures have compounded the situation," said Ron Muckley, vice president of operations for TRW's braking and suspension business in North America. "With the pressures on the industry, difficult decisions must be made to decrease excess capacity and reduce costs," Muckley explained.
