Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays PLC (BCS), has hired three mining analysts from JP Morgan Cazenove, a unit of JP Morgan, said a person familiar with the matter Tuesday.

The three mining analysts are David Butler, Amos Fletcher, and Ian Roussouw, the person said.

Barclays Capital declined to comment on the matter.
