Centamin Egypt Limited ("Centamin" or "the Company") (TSX:CEE)(LSE:CEY) wishes
to advise that the delisting of its shares from trading on the ASX ("the
delisting") was completed, with effect from close of business on 29 January
2010. Centamin's Primary Listing is on the Official List of the London Stock
Exchange and the Company will continue to maintain its listing on the Toronto
Stock Exchange.
In addition, Centamin has appointed Bank of America Merrill Lynch to act as its
joint corporate broker alongside Ambrian Partners.
Commenting on the delisting, Josef El-Raghy, Managing Director/CEO of Centamin,
stated:
"The ASX listing has been a vital platform during our early days as an
exploration company and we have benefited from the support that ASX has provided
over the years. Now as a gold company with a Primary Listing in London, we see
these appointments as being in keeping with the Company's evolution."
