TORONTO, Feb. 3, 2015 /CNW/ - Redline Communications
(www.rdlcom.com) Group Inc. (TSX: RDL), a leading provider of
mission-critical wireless networks, announced today that it has
received a $3M order to supply
wireless networking equipment to a major telecommunications service
provider in Morocco.
Responding to growing demand from its business customers for
reliable, high speed communications, this telecom provider elected
to upgrade their current network and expand nationally using
wireless technology, giving them the ability to quickly roll out
service to virtually any location. Redline will be providing its
compact ultra-reliable carrier-grade wireless networking solution,
Enterprise, to support this telecom service provider's business
service. Redline's products allow them to deploy business-quality
services with the speed and reliability of fiber optic networks, at
a fraction of the cost and turn-up time.
"This client was very demanding, and in a competitive process
required us to demonstrate that our solution was powerful and
reliable enough to satisfy stringent service level agreements with
their business customers," said Ziad
Choueiry, managing director of strategic accounts at Redline
Communications. "Redline designed Enterprise for telecom service
providers as an affordable alternative to fiber optic networks
without sacrificing performance and reliability."
"Our latest solutions featuring state-of-the-art 256QAM
modulation and GPS-based fixed-frame performed better than all the
competitive options being reviewed by the customer," said
Rod Cronin, Redline's director of
product management. "These technology advances enable service
providers to deliver high performance, reliable and secure
solutions to their business customers."
Redline's wireless Enterprise solution is simple and fast to set
up, allowing service providers to deliver high-speed connectivity
to business customers within hours. It delivers high reliability
operation with industry leading mean-time-between-failure (MTBF)
times and it's ability to operate in both point-to-point (PTP) and
point-to-multi-point (PMP) links enables a single base station to
connect to multiple distributed Enterprise units for cost effective
scalability. Software upgradable and reconfigurable, it can be
updated over the air for exceptional lifetime value.
Redline will begin shipping product to this customer immediately
and for the next four years.
