TORONTO, Jan. 2, 2019 /CNW/ - First Asset Investment
Management Inc. ("First Asset") announces that an annual,
special distribution in the amount of $0.026 per unit of First Asset MSCI USA Low Risk Weighted ETF (TSX: RWU and RWU.B)
(the "ETF") was paid on or about December
31, 2018 to unitholders of record on December 28, 2018. First Asset had
previously announced that the ETF would not be paying an annual,
special distribution.
This distribution was not paid in cash, but was reinvested and
the resulting units immediately consolidated so that the number of
units held by each investor did not change. Investors holding
their units outside registered plans will have taxable amounts to
report and an increase in the adjusted cost base of their
investment.
