MONTREAL, June 10, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - SNC-Lavalin (TSX:
SNC) is pleased to announce that Sound Transit has selected South
County Transit Partners, a joint venture (JV) of Mott MacDonald and
SNC-Lavalin's Atkins business, to continue its role providing

project in the Seattle area. The
contract covers the design and construction period of the project,
Phase 2B.
"We are very proud to continue our work to deliver the Federal
Way Link Extension alongside our partner Mott MacDonald," said
Ian L. Edwards, President and CEO,
SNC-Lavalin. "Our team is driven by shaping a better world and will
build on our extensive design-build experience for large-scale
light rail projects. We believe our expertise will prove valuable
as the world will require new transit solutions for a post COVID-19
environment."
"This contract award strengthens our position as a trusted
advisor for Sound Transit," said George
Nash, CEO, Atkins North
America. "At Atkins, we recognize that developing critical
infrastructure projects is a collaborative process, and we will
draw on our ability to work with our partners and stakeholders to
make sustainable mass transit a reality for the citizens and
