VGG Vanguard US Dividend Appreciation Index ETF

TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2020 /CNW/ - Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. today announced the estimated annual capital gains distributions for the Vanguard ETFs listed below for the 2020 tax year.  Please note that these are estimated amounts only, as of October 30, 2020, and reflect forward-looking information which may cause the estimates to change before the ETFs' tax year-end of December 15, 2020. 

These estimates are for the year-end capital gains distributions only, which will be re-invested and the resulting units immediately consolidated, so that the number of units held by each investor will not change. These estimates do not include estimates of ongoing monthly or quarterly cash distribution amounts. 

Vanguard expects to announce the final year-end distribution amounts for VBU, VBG and VGAB on or about December 17, 2020. The ex-dividend date for the 2020 year-end distributions for VBU, VBG and VGAB will be December 23, 2020.  The record date will be December 24, 2020 and payable on January 5, 2021.

Other than VBU, VBG and VGAB, the 2020 final year-end distribution amounts, as well as the monthly and quarterly cash distribution amounts will be announced on or about December 22, 2020. The ex-dividend date for the 2020 year-end distributions (with the exception of VBU, VBG and VGAB) will be December 30, 2020.  The record date will be December 31, 2020 and payable on January 8, 2021.
