Adroit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ADT)(FRANKFURT: A7V)(BERLIN:
A7V) Management is pleased to announce that all twelve diamond
drill holes from its 4,061 meter winter programme at Grassy Lake
have been logged and a total of 1,535 samples shipped; 1,376
samples to AGAT Laboratories Ltd. of Mississauga, Ontario, for
assaying and 159 samples to ALS Canada Ltd. of Vancouver, British
Columbia, for whole rock assay (see News Release dated March 28th,
2011).
Adroit expects to receive all assay results by late May 2011.
These results will be published once evaluated by the Company's
technical team.
Exploration Progress - Little Pigeon Lake. A 'deep' dipole IP
crew from Larder Lake Geophysics, has completed their IP survey,
designed to identify geophysical targets up to 400 meters below
surface, and Adroit is waiting for the completion of the final
report (see News Release dated February 8th, 2011).
An 8.5 km grid was cut across two main copper/quartz showings on
the south-western edge of Little Pigeon Lake. The two surface
showings have provided selected 'grab' sample results of 10.4% and
4.7% Cu, respectively, and were fire assayed by Accurassay
Laboratories, of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The three grid lines were
prepared for a Mag/VLF survey to test the lines and the entire
length of the lake.
Little Pigeon Lake is about 6 km south-east of where the Grassy
Lake winter drilling took place and on the western end of a
east/west trending quartz vein, varying in width between 0.8 and
5.0m that has been discontinuously recognized over a 2.3 km length.
Random Company grab sampling of five historical Cu showings
(trenches), aligned along a discontinuously outcropping quartz
vein, returned local copper highs of respectively 1.8, 2.5, 2.6,
4.7 and 10.4% Cu. The five Company sampled showings are from five
separate regularly spaced locations along the entire recognized
length of the vein and were fire assayed by Accurassay
Laboratories. Anomalous gold values are also associated with these
copper values. (see News Release dated October 6th, 2008). The
Company cautions that the grab samples may not be representative of
the grade of mineralization on the property.
New Staking. Adroit has continued its aggressive expansion
policy in the Shining Tree area and has staked an additional 10
claim units, bringing its Red Vein property to 604 claim units,
(9,664 ha).
Summer field season. Adroit has assembled a summer team of
student geologists and experienced prospectors to expand the
exploration of the Red Vein property through mapping, surface
sampling, MMI sampling, till sampling, geophysics, and improving
access through the construction of a network of trails.
The Red Vein property is located within the southern part of the
Abitibi greenstone belt in the Shining Tree area of northern
Ontario and is highly prospective for copper, zinc and gold. (See
News Releases dated December 6th and 20th, 2010 for further
reference).
The area has long been an area of intense interest, located in
the heart of the exploration triangle of the three large Ontario
mining camps of Timmins (80 km due North), Sudbury (150 km due
South), and Kirkland Lake (75 km Northeast). There are 30 VMS
deposits with over 200,000 tonnes of massive sulphides within 200
km of the Red Vein property, including Kidd Creek in Timmins with
147,880,000 tonnes grading 2.31% copper, 6.18% zinc and 87 g/t
silver and the Horne, H&G Ore bodies in Noranda with 53,700,000
tonnes grading 2.2% copper and 6.10 g/t gold. There are numerous
historical copper showings on the property and gold showings abound
in the surrounding area. The property is located approximately 10
km north-west of the former Tyranite Gold Mine and 8 km south of
the Sothman nickel deposit (see News Release dated October 6th,
2008).
