Broadview Press (TSX VENTURE:BDP) reports net sales for Q3 2008 of $1,365,097
(Q3 2007 = $1,986,468). Over the first three quarters net sales totaled
$2,239,309 (2007 = $3,095,321). The reduction in sales levels from 2007 levels
comes in the wake of the Company's May 1 sale of its History and Social Sciences
lists to the University of Toronto Press; the Company's focus is now exclusively
as a publisher in the Humanities (traditionally its area of greatest strength).

Because Broadview's operations are seasonal, the Company historically posts
losses in the first and second quarters, typically followed by profits in the
third and fourth quarters. For Q3 2008 the Company is reporting a net profit of
$197,551 (2007: $304,049), and for the first nine months of the year a net loss
of $196,587 (2007:a net loss of $250,880).

Broadview's quarterly financial statements, as well as its management discussion
and analysis of these results, can be read by visiting www.sedar.com. Broadview
Press is an internationally-oriented, Canadian-based academic book publisher.
