Global Hunter Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BOB) ("Global Hunter" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce results for an additional seven drill holes from its recent
31-hole, nearly 9,600 metre, drill program on Las Posadas shear zone at La
Corona de Cobre project, Chile.

Highlights of the assay results include (complete total and soluble copper
intervals can be found in Appendix A attached hereto):

- LP- 77, 52 metres of 0.94% Cu with 0.03% SolCu

- LP- 78, 52 metres of 0.71% Cu with 0.54% SolCu

- LP- 79, 34 metres of 1.14% Cu with 0.16% SolCu

- LP- 80, 8 metres of 2.50% Cu with 0.56% SolCu

"We continue to be excited by the sulphide copper mineralization being
identified below the existing oxide resource as this will greatly enhance the
potential of the project. The infill drilling continues to tighten up the drill
hole spacing and we hope this will allow for upgrading the category of some of
the resource to allow more accurate engineering as we move the project forward,"
said Rod Husband, President and CEO of Global Hunter.

The program was designed to do the following: in-fill drill and further
delineate the known copper oxide deposit; determine the boundaries of the oxide
deposit in three dimensions; explore for possible extensions; provide sufficient
core material for final copper oxide metallurgical testing; and assess the
peripheral and deeper copper sulfide potential of the deposit below the current
National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 qualified copper oxide resource and the oxide
resource pit outline.

The Company's technical team is currently compiling new maps and cross-sections
of Las Posadas deposit and these will be posted on the Global Hunter website,
www.globalhunter.ca, as they become available. The Company also expects
additional assay results to become available shortly and will release the data
upon receiving it.

A summary of the sampling handling, QA/QC program, sample preparation and
analytical methods are described in the Company's previous news release
pertaining to drill results.

program was designed to further define the resource and economics of the Las
Posadas deposit and will continue. In addition to La Corona de Cobre, the
Company is also working to complete further delineation drilling and an initial
resource estimate at its Rabbit South Property molybdenum project in
south-central British Columbia, Canada.

Michael S. Fulp, C.P.G., Chief Geologist for Global Hunter, is the Qualified
