A Name Change in the S&P/TSX Venture
Composite and Venture Select Indices
TORONTO, Dec. 22, 2014 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian
Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX
Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Donnycreek Energy Inc. (TSXVN:DCK) and
Contact Exploration Inc. (TSXVN:CEX) have agreed to the terms of a
Plan of Arrangement whereby the companies will merge to form
Kicking Horse Energy Inc. (TSXVN:KCK). Contact Exploration will be
removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the
close of trading on Tuesday, December 23,
2014. At the same time, the shares of Donnycreek Energy will
be consolidated on a 6-for-10 basis and the name and ticker symbol
will be changed to Kicking Horse Energy Inc. – KCK – in the
S&P/TSX Venture Composite and Venture Select Indices.
