Extenway Solutions Inc. ("Extenway") (TSX VENTURE: EY) is pleased to announce that the Centre de sante et de services sociaux du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes has selected its bedside terminals and multimedia solution following a Call for Proposals. Some 280 of the region's beds will be equipped with the patient bedside terminals, including the entertainment service, and screens offering the multimedia solution will be installed in waiting rooms.

"There is tremendous enthusiasm for our terminals, which let health centres optimize their communications and services, and allow patients to feel less isolated", said John McAllister, President and CEO of Extenway. "We are extremely proud to count the CSSS du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes as a future client of our company."

The Extenway terminals offer patients access to entertainment on demand (digital TV, music, radio, Internet, social networks, video games, chat and films on demand), plus educational content about their health and the hospital.

Extenway and the CSSS du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes are to conclude the agreement in the next few weeks to determine a timeline for installing the solution. This agreement is conditional to the completion of the financing required based on the agreement concluded with a financial institution and announced on March 22, 2010, to make available, subject to certain conditions, term loan facilities in the maximum amount of $25M.

With this agreement, more than 400 beds will be equipped with Extenway's interactive terminals in Quebec, as the technology is already in use at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital of Laval.

Subsequent to the announcement made on July 21, 2011, note that the deadline associated with the contemplated private placement of a minimum of 14,705,883 Extenway common shares at a subscription price of $0.17 per share for minimum gross proceeds of $2,500,000 has been extended to November 1, 2011. The terms and conditions of the private placement remain unchanged.
