TNR Gold chair welcomes progress at McEwen Copper's Los Azules copper project in Argentina
TNR Gold Corp (TSX-V:TNR, OTC:TRRXF) executive chairman Kirill Klip talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest developments, including a key milestone in its transition to a cash-flow-generating royalty business. Klip highlighted that TNR Gold holds royalties on significant projects, including the Los Azules Copper project and the Mariana Lithium project in Argentina. With Los Azules now applying for Argentina's incentive regime for large investments, he explained that the project could see substantial tax reductions, making it easier to attract the $2.7 billion investment required for construction. Discussing Argentina’s economic reforms under President Javier Milei, Klip noted that the country's policies are encouraging large-scale investment in the mining sector. He also pointed to the environmental permit secured for Los Azules, bringing it closer to a construction decision, with a feasibility study expected in the first half of the year. Klip also shared insights from Fundamental Research Corporation’s latest analysis, which increased its price target for TNR Gold from $0.24 to $0.28, underscoring the company's transition from a project generator to a cash-flow-generating royalty company. GTI Energy’s Uranium Study Yields Key Results
GTI Energy Ltd CEO Bruce Lane talked with Proactive about the latest developments at the Lo Herma in-situ recovery (ISR) Uranium Project in Wyoming. Lane highlighted key findings from recent scoping study fieldwork, including updated resource estimates of 8.57 million pounds, with 30% in the indicated category. He noted that metallurgical testing produced positive leach test results, aligning with nearby uranium projects. GTI Energy also completed permeability testing and water monitoring wells, confirming sufficient water levels and favourable mineralization conditions for ISR mining. Lane emphasized that these results reinforce the feasibility of uranium extraction at Lo Herma, placing it in line with existing ISR operations in Wyoming. He outlined the company’s next steps, including finalizing the scoping study and preparing for further permitting and potential project expansion. Lane also discussed the strong uranium market fundamentals, citing U.S. utilities' annual demand of 50 million pounds versus current domestic production of only 1–2 million pounds. With growing interest in US-based uranium supply and favourable regulatory conditions, GTI Energy continues to advance its Wyoming uranium assets. Immunic presents at ACTRIMS forum as it awaits key CALLIPER MS trial data
Immunic Therapeutics chief medical officer Dr Andreas Muehler talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's strong presence at the 10th annual ACTRIMS Forum, where it presented two key posters on multiple sclerosis (MS). He highlighted that Immunic’s investigational drug, vidofludimus calcium, has potential neuroprotective properties that may benefit both relapsing and progressive MS patients. One of the posters examined baseline characteristics of past progressive MS trials and contrasted them with Immunic’s CALLIPER trial, designed for non-relapsing patients with minimal inflammatory activity. The second poster explored preclinical data on the drug’s mechanism of action, emphasizing its potential to target activated microglia and support neuron survival. Muehler noted significant engagement from the MS community at ACTRIMS, with many keenly anticipating the CALLIPER trial’s readout in April. “It’s really one of the very few late-stage drugs with a potential neuroprotective effect,” he said, adding that the data could provide new hope for progressive MS patients who currently have limited treatment options.
