CALGARY,

Exploration Ltd. ("Hawk" or the "Corporation") is pleased to
announce the appointment of James C. ("Pep") Lough to the
Corporation's Board of Directors.
Mr. Lough is a retired businessman who has 30
years of experience in senior financial management positions at
both public and private oil and gas companies. Mr. Lough was most
recently the Chief Financial Officer at Cutpick Energy Inc. and
currently serves on the board of directors of two private,
Calgary based oil and gas
companies. Mr. Lough holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the
University of Manitoba and is a
Chartered Accountant.
Hawk also announces that Greg Turnbull has resigned from the
Corporation's Board of Directors in order to concentrate on other
business endeavors. Mr. Turnbull has been a director of Hawk since
its formation in February 2009. The
Corporation would like to thank Mr. Turnbull for his guidance and
contributions as a member of the Board of Directors of Hawk. The
Corporation and the Board of Directors would like to wish Mr.
Turnbull all the best in the future.
