Mittal Steel Appoints Director of Investor Relations LONDON, May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mittal Steel Company (NYSE and Euronext Amsterdam: MT) today announces the appointment of Julien Onillon as Director of Investor Relations based in London. The appointment is effective 1 June 2005. Julien will work closely with Tom McCue, Head of North American Investor Relations on all Investor Relations related issues in North America. Julien will report directly to Aditya Mittal, President and Chief Financial Officer, Mittal Steel Company. Julien joins Mittal Steel from HSBC where he was previously Head of Global Steel Research based in Paris. In this role, Julien covered Mittal Steel (and previously Ispat International) and the global steel industry for 10 years and has an expansive knowledge of both. Prior to his position at HSBC, Julien was an equity analyst covering various sectors including oils, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, metals and packaging at BNP Paribas, Detroyat Associes and Caisse des Depots et Consignation. Julien also acted as a special advisor to the International Iron & Steel Institute and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Julien has received numerous analyst awards in recent years including number one ranked European Metals and Mining analyst for estimates accuracy in 2003, number two ranked European Metals and Mining analyst for stock recommendation in 2003 and 2004.
