CALGARY, June 16, 2016 /CNW/ - Ivrnet Inc. (TSXV: IVI)
("Ivrnet" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that the
first advertising revenues have been received on the NEXTEXT
platform, officially entering the the product into the market.
In development since 2013 under the brand name AdCentral, and
previously announced as NEXTEXT in April of 2016, NEXTEXT provides
digital communictions and advertising revenue to North American
transit operators. The first successful pilot project was completed
with an operator in 2014, at which time Ivrnet began working with
the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission
(CRTC) to confirm that NEXTEXT meets both the spirt and letter of
the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation. In the fall of 2015
Ivrnet became the first company to receive written confirmation
from the CRTC that our SMS based advertising platform fully
complied with the rules, and is a technology platform that is
encouraged for use in the Canadian market.
Discussed in our previous release, NEXTEXT is a partnership of
Ivrnet and Farwest Digital that allows riders to request and
receive information relavent to their specific transit stop, along
with advertising relevant to the geographic location of the
stop. Ths unique SMS and sponsorship platform is based on
Ivrnet's proprietary AdCentral platform that combines automated
information response with geolocation services. NEXTEXT
incudes SMS aggregation, SMS processing and integrated Web
applications for selling and managing all aspects of advertising
content and campaigns. NEXTEXT fully integrates with real time, GPS
based bus arrival information. It is available 24 hours a
day, seven days a week. It is automated, robust, reliable,
easy to use, extremely scalable, readily deployable and remarkably
cost effective for transit operators and their riders.
Since the pilot project in 2013, Ivrnet has delievered 15
million SMS messages to transit riders. Following on the
receipt of CRTC approval, and the launch of the NEXTEXT
partnership, Ivrnet is now pleased to confirm that we have
generated and collected our first paid advertisements, and
delivered our first partnership check to a transit operator that
reduces their cost of providing service and helps them drive
non-fare revenues. Further, we are extremely proud that in
parallel to this first revenue we were able to deliver, over the
span of two weeks, 1.4 million SMS messages, to three Canadian
markets, seeking support for humanitarian relief during the recent
fires in Northern Alberta. The NEXTEXT system performed above
expecation and met all needs asked of it during this time.
