AMSTERDAM, July 26, 2017 /CNW/ - Meridian Mining SE (TSX V:
MNO) ("Meridian " or the "Company") today reported it has drawn
down the remaining US$1.25 million of
the US$7 million loan facility (the
"Loan") from its largest shareholder The Sentient Group.
The proceeds of the loan will be used for payments relating to
the pilot plant, ongoing exploration on the Bom Futuro tin JV, and
for general working capital purposes. The loan incurs interest at
10% and has a repayment date of April 30,
2018.
"We are pleased to have the continued support from The Sentient
Group". Meridian President and CEO, Anthony
Julien said, "a portion of these funds will be used to make
the final pilot plant payments, which is expected to be
commissioned during August.
