Newlook Industries Corp. ("Newlook" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: NLI) announces that as part of an overall restructuring, it intends to adopt the name "A.C. Simmonds and Sons", subject to regulatory approval.

The A.C. Simmonds corporate name has a history spanning back nearly ninety years in the audio, electronic and communication sectors. John G. Simmonds, Newlook CEO, acquired rights to the name in 1993. Newlook intends to adopt the name as part of a debt settlement agreement with its former subsidiary, Wireless Age Communications, Inc. ("Wireless Age") (PINK SHEETS: WLSA). Accordingly, Wireless Age plans to adopt the Newlook name.

Additionally, Newlook is pleased to announce that it has appointed Brian Usher-Jones to its Board of Directors, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Usher-Jones has been a merchant banker since 1995 and was the former President of MB Capital Corporation and Thomson Kernaghan Co. Ltd., an investment banking firm in Toronto, Canada. He has served as a director of various public companies, including Wireless Age Communications, Inc., Xplore Technologies Corp., Calvalley Petroleum Inc. and Oromonte Resources Inc. Mr. Usher-Jones is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University.
