I also took notice of that statement they are in talks with other parties. Should be an interesting situation- let's hope Robinson does what we both think he's capable of.

Hi Maverick
excellent points
i also think Robinson is the one to right this ship
here is a blurb from the last release that has me excited

In particular, the Company is engaged in active dialogue with potential strategic partners whereby strong operational and technical synergies might be achieved over and above the provision of an improved capital position.

Shareholders will be kept informed of any developments regarding this process.

I added more on Friday and think .05 was the challenge
it should pop from 5 to 10 no problem

I also am excited about the reduction of 70 k a month
and 2 months ago they also sliced off 50 k a month
with closing Canadian offices
this is now a lean company and oil is on the rise things could change for the positive really quickly
holding and adding going forward
I agree more will discover this company and board glad to be here right now
good luck to you
and waiting for that release about a Joint venture

I meant to say David Robinson earlier post not Williams- don't know why I said Williams. The new CFO appears to be real sharp as well the gentleman Derek Gardiner. We're seeing .05 today and volume is here- we're gaining traction and certain circles I can tell. I'm going to be adding more next week and build my position up even more. Then I'm going to sit back and watch the late comers push it up even more while the company cuts deals with partnerships and streamlines more of their operations.

To reduce monthly expenses by $70,000 already is a job well done and I expect this to seriously be up in the $1.00+ range eventually. That's why I stayed out of the fray in the beginning I thought they were paying to much for their assets and the stock was paying the price along with bad senior management based way over in Western Canada halfway across the world and out of touch with NZ.

This was the smartest move they could make bringing in Mr. Robinson and Mr. Gardiner and they are being proactive in their cost cutting and already talking to potential deals with exploration and development no doubt.

I like this company and I see the opportunity it presents. I don't say that often by the way.

This board is going to get busier you watch when it starts attracting attention as we go along here.

You sure did - well you know all about this company then from a perspective not many have. Your input is valued on my end that's for sure. It's really unfortunate the old CEO did what he did with this company. No shareholder should have to endure what you have been through. To burn through over $60 Mill dollars to get 140 something barrels a day is truly bizarre. I get the midstream and the large lease position but this could have been acquired and under production for a fraction of what he pissed off rather foolishly. Some of the worst moves I've ever seen actually. But from the ashes the Phoenix will arise and people live and learn. We're in really smart good hands now and I do believe Wlilliams is going to move into partnerships, JV's team up with others to explore the large acreage and drill targets. They don't have cash so that's their only option or get a large injection of capital from bankers. Either way I don't wish to see anymore dilution being dropped in shareholders it's not fair to all of us. To systematically destroy your shareholders with massive dilution is wrong and needs to be stopped. The mismanagement and piss poor burning of shareholders will not help them going forward from here with a new CEO.

Good luck as well I sincerely mean this.

Have bought all the way down to .025
I have an ok average cost and will continue buying on the way up till my break even number
glad I was not in the 21 million share raise at 3.00 for 63 million dollars
that Proust pissed away
imagine having that cash in this market
i also have faith in the new ceo
seems the ship is righted and smooth sailing ahead

Lots of interesting different mergers could shape up.
If not- they could expand themselves without merging.
New CEO no dummy- saw the opportunity seized the day.
Knows exactly what he has and where it's going IMO.
Clean the books up, consolidate operations, raise capital.
So glad I didn't invest earlier- but watched patiently.

Yes I agree with you for sure
maybe he reverses a deal in the back door and takes over tag through nzec he has fantastic connections
what a package that would be together
also I think ew would be a good fit to take over
But I might be thinking to small
as the big players are looking to get into New Zealand now

Trader- I think a buyout could occur someday.
How could it not look at who the new CEO is?
New CEO was a lobbyist and ran NZ Govt Energy Agency.
He's a competent connected big fish in O&G NZ circles.
We could be smiling all the way to the bank on this one.
Mere speculation will drive this one up.
Any future merger news will push this way up.
At these prices- gobble gobble.
If it never merges I'm ok with that- I'm not going anywhere.
I started feeding at the trough when people bailed :)
Lets buy it all up before the wolfpack shows up.

I'll stop at 1.75 mill shares...still acquiring. But I'm not going to paint myself into a corner either- I could keep going. :)

I like the midstream facility, prospects, large lease, removal of old CEO, new CEO and it's producing. One highly overlooked point I may add is that it's NON-OPEC and located in a politically stable country with many geographical advantages.

I see this new CEO as the type of chap that will reduce costs, raise capital at same time and potentially expand output.

IMO this is worth .30-.50 down the road....and further down the road $1+...

I don't look at the negative that occurred here since inception- I'm looking forward not backward and the future looks bright and lots of potential profit to be made before the Street finds out which will only push the PPS up later.

I think the news might be starting to spread in financial circles around NZ and AZ already...it appears to me anyway. More Canadians will start to join in I would imagine once it starts to rise in PPS eventually.

I agree.
We're in better hands than before.
He's connected.
Knows what he's doing.
My hope is he reduces dilution.
Improves bottom line and is already consolidating.
This should be trading much higher and IMO it will down the road.

maverick one maverick one 10 years ago
The volume finally showed up- just a slight PPS increase at this moment. Hopefully more upside in PPS and hopefully they don't undercut and dump the new shares onto the market depressing PPS and market cap.

This has potential I just hope the new CEO who has deep connections to the industry in NZ will ramp up the revs and clean out past bad financing deals without diluting common shareholders anymore.

Prudent decision in moving HQ's over to NZ and cutting some management costs including a high salary from the last CEO.

NON-OPEC small producer in a niche market in NZ I like this play if they can keep cutting costs across the board and not dilute shareholders any further in exchange of capital.

CEO Proust was making $40,000 a year what took him so long to step down? It should have happened back in 2012-2013 took way to long.

Why have shareholders been diluted to this terrible degree? What did they do with $80 million in capital to only return a hair over 200 BOE daily ouput?

What I don't understand is why did NZ give Geoservices a division of parent Schlumberger .166% of the companies shares for only $850,000 and the assets are considerably worth much much more? That will break down two ways...either a wise decision and they ramp up production or they squander it all away once again.

Either way they will need MUCH MORE capital then this paltry $850,000 to be able to drill new wells...we're talking $2-$3 million for each one ballpark figures and to do that new CEO Williams is going to have to convince someone to be a long term strategic partner to keep the sharks like Louden away from the considerable assets this company owns. Be ready IMO to see a merchant banking long term partner team up with NZ to show up on the scene and rescue this company. I know it sounds out there- but I do believe this is a ripe opportunity for a merchant banker to step in here and do real well over time.

Smartest thing they did was get rid of Proust and his asinine $40,000 monthly salary and consolidate operations over to NZ where it's operations are executed. Williams is well connected as the new CEO and was the main oil lobbyist before he stepped down to helm this company...hopefully into a new profitable era.

If Williams doesn't turn this around and soon...I'm afraid Louden will be owning NZ for a mere pittance of what NZ's assets are worth in 2015 stock would be worthless.

Sounds like NZ's backs are against the wall to have to negotiate and give away that many shares and warrants for a mere $850,000.

But with all turn around success stories there is a capacity to do this here...they do have a decent sized reserve and if they have some early success under new CEO Williams and add more production on the cheap along with adding more reserves they can get out of this situation.

I'm banking on it that they will.

Thanks
Penny stocks normally don't go up much on news.
Usually result of penny stock promoters companies hire.
It's all about timing in and out and what you originally pay.
Hopefully one is wise enough to spot dilution when PPS is to high.

Thank goodness someone like you came along here I was talking to myself for months. If someone injects $850,000 and acquires 17,000,000 units at .05 and with each unit comes a non-tranferable share purchase warrant that will enable them later to acquire common shares for .02 cents higher at .07 that tells me a financier likes that they see here. If not- they wouldn't be dropping in $850,000 of capital into this for nothing. This is dilution no doubt- but this company has been seriously diluting their shareholders into the dirt since Day 1 back in 2011. What's different about this company now is that if you were a common shareholder that bought in higher years ago and even earlier this past year you were going to seriously lose everything you invested. There is no doubt about that based on the way these previous deals were structured. Take a look at how many shares that have been dumped since Day 1...my team members were concerned with the amount of shares that had been doled out-so I directed them to start counting the daily share volumes since Day 1 traded back in 11' and we came up with some interesting information as to who we suspect has been cleared out and who hasn't been... regarding the selling of their shares-warrants in lieu of cash injected. This play is all about timing and thank god I wasn't in this earlier or I surely would have been emptied out of my investment dollars.

Now IMO we're at or near the very bottom and when you have financial agreements linked to PPS sells of stock given to financiers in exchange of cash injections you can kind of a get detailed idea of where this could go. Will the financiers later get the itch to sell later for less than .05 than they acquired it for? No way to know here yet but that will be played out later. I've seen many other financiers in the past in hundreds of other deals where financiers sell later for less than acquired just to recoup part of their original investment because the stock didn't appreciate and they needed their money back. Now whether or not deals are struck with MM's, the company involved and the financiers to move the bid and ask up is another thing. Sometimes that involves agreements that the company will do certain things to hire penny stock promoters to help move & juice the stock and increase their opportunity and profits. In this case the baseline will be $850,000 and a PPS of .05 and later potentially .07 if the conditions are right for the financiers. I'd rather be sitting under a dime and under .05 if I'm a shareholder or some person sitting on the fence. If you've been here all along your trying to average down which I believe you have been doing-good for you by the way!

Very rarely do companies stock appreciate from just penny stock investors finding companies and their stock all on their lonesomes. It's usually from penny stock promoters going hand in had with the companies that hire and pay them. Usually the rise in PPS has nothing to do with the actual business of said company no matter what line of business they are into. It's called timing and where you enter it at and where you stay at or jettison when it goes up. Longer you stick around for longer durations you'll see the spikes in volume and corporations release of PR's and their timing of certain events.

But at this PPS they produce decent of amount of oil and some gas I'm keeping my eyes on certain aspects of their business-but more importantly I am studying the the deals they cut for cash and what effect it has on major dilution which is a negative effect on common shareholders that do not provide deals like $850,000 of financing. We the common shareholders are in an inferior position to a financier who has given $850,000 to the company- that's the way it is- it's a legal contract attached to a financial mechanism.

But- what I do believe could happen down the road is that this will be manipulated eventually by the powers that be that are involved with these types of funding situations and they'll wish to raise the PPS up to recoup their investments and make perhaps hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. Let's be clear here if your the financier your not giving a company $850,000 because your a good guy and you like them. Your giving them that money to double, triple, quadruple it... whatever the skies the limit or it could be a 10-30% profit end game we'll never know. But they are not here to lose money and so the game is set up to make money. It's called timing and counting shares- which I consider close to sitting in Vegas and counting cards except this is legal.

Much rather be sitting here on the low end than buying in at $1.00 or .50 or even .25 losing everything to massive dilution through the years. At this point this company in my opinion has pissed and burned through way to much capital for the amount of oil and gas they are producing and the East Cape exploration has been a failure with no success. Problem with all of their issues of trying to start this company from scratch is that common shareholders lost everything IMO to their dilution upon them. Right now I don't feel like I'm a part of that previous shareholder dynamic of losing anything at this point- because I like I mentioned before I didn't buy in higher. But at the bottom...or it could go lower one never knows for sure. But by acquiring that many units at that price very bottom of the barrel it could go both ways for common shareholders. Do they undercut the .05 or do they raise it to recoup?

My thoughts are that there is another financier out there waiting to get involved with some other package of funding that will take a longer business partner approach to New Zealand Energy rather than just selling as many units as quickly as they can. US financiers are the Wild West anything goes- the more refined European specifically British style of merchant banking and investment is what I prefer. Which is more of a long time partner which will raise the PPS up a higher valuation to achieve several objectives.

The company has prospects I understand this but this also has everything to do with how this company finances it's business dealings which will in the end affect it's common shareholders with little to do with how much O&G they produce or sell.

IMO this could run to $2.00-$4.00...I'm not going to say why or how I know this for that's DD. But one day it will happen and in the meantime I acquire for dirt cheap. NON-OPEC politically stable healthy western country excellent opportunity to snag shares for under .05 that produces net 200 barrels daily. They also own as an equal 50% partner in a midstream\downstream processing facility with lots of explorable acreage under contract left to explore and then develop over time. IMO this is the bottom and lots of people lost their $ when they bought higher...that's why the lack of activity. But- I see promise and lots of it and for a mere fraction of what it's future value will be. I think it's a wise prudent move to clear out the old CEO and offices in Vancouver BC and realign in NZ to save expenses near their core business and leases.

I look at this as an opportunity after what occurred here. For them to survive they have to operate with less capital and make wiser more prudent decisions now and for the future. The raising of the recent capital is a step in the right direction and puts them on a budget.

I'll keep acquiring and hold long term for the phoenix to rise from the ashes...and it will that's why I did my DD and opted to start acquiring and taking a pretty large stake.

It's all timing buy low....then later sell high if pps is right years later if need be. I'll continue to acquire on the low end.

Thanks for replying and I know not many people are here but that's ok.

Thanks Maverick
I think you are spot on
I have been and continue to add at the .08 range
and I think with anything positive a return to the .40ies is possible
it hit 3.80 in 2012
that is a serious drop to 7-8 cents!
management did not handle the capital well
They raised 63 million at 3.00 per share
and presto it is gone
I think you are right they will be very careful going forward

Bout time someone rose from the cyber dead-welcome back.

It's a very tiny O & G that's thinly traded without much marketing.

IMO the bottom has been around the .05-.08 in that range of bands...which isn't much money. Now that they are fresh with capital...we'll see what they do with it. I believe they will put it to smart good use.

IMO the long multi-year slide is over and eventually could reach back up to the .40's...then if it's managed correctly could hit .50 and north. I'm still acquiring bc 8's are still cheap to me as a value investor.
