Hey Mac, right now I’m out but trying to figure out at what point I’ll jump back in. Let’s say no news for a while, I think it may touch or retest $1.80. Then I’ll jump back in.

Thanks for bringing real numbers, and by themselves, those numbers would be concerning, especially if the losses were attached to what we would regard as ongoing revenues. But, in spite of their rush to describe themselves as a commercialized entity, they remain in late stages of development. Only nominal revenues have been booked to date.

This is not development in terms of proving the technology, that long, high risk phase is mostly behind them. The development being undertaken now is customization of the optical interposer tech into specific working products for committed customers. My definition of commercialization is simple, when the lemonade is made and it is being sold, you are engaged in commerce. Theirs may be different.

However, like the lemonade stand, they must invest in product and demonstrate an ability to deliver it in quality and quantity. So it’s no surprise their expenses will ramp prior to a revenue ramp. That is the stage we are in now.

You can grind the beans as much as you like, and if they fail to book revenues before cash runs out, you may be a soothsayer. But the deals in hand with Foxconn, Luxtera and CAI suggest that we are not looking at a pie in the sky scenario; real revenues and further customer engagements will come, to what extent will determine its success.

If they remain without substantial revenues a year from now, come back and pull the fire alarm, as cash may begin to reach unacceptable levels. Recent actions show them shedding retail investment as a source of sustenance in favor of the emergence of some level of institutional investment. Since companies need to be more open with these folks regarding what is happening, if such interest increases, it may bode well for us small fry.

In the meantime, save the panic for later next year, unless you are just trying to create a cheaper entry point.

For the quarter Jan-Mar 2023, POET had net loss of $5.27 million.
For the quarter, Jan-Mar 2024, POET had net loss of $5.72 million. Those are both huge losses compared to the company's total revenue.
That is an increase of $450K. These losses are accumulating. POET just increased the number of shares by 3.5 million during the month of May. That is diluting shareholders further. Catch up with the income statement and balance sheet or you will be out a lot of money. You can find the filing at the SEC since May 15th, 2024. Or then again, don't catch up and you will probably lose even more. Enjoy!

They have $3.5 million in liabilities. They barely have any cash, the only reason they have any cash is because they are diluting shareholders hugely. More dilution is coming because they have almost no cash left. Look at the balance sheet and the income statement. Seriously!

Please Mac give the person a little benefit of the doubt. It’s OK (I guess) for a poster who registered on our message board a week ago to bash both LWLG and POET. Let the poor person short away.

“Creditors are getting anxious”. Seriously, do you even research before you post such BS. The company has no debt and now more than $25 million in cash. Show some credibility when you try to bash. .

Loses are no longer $5 million per quarter but have risen to $6 million per quarter.
Net tangible book value is going negative this quarter. It would have gone negative earlier but they have diluted the shareholders from 38 million share to over 46 million share is the most recent 12 months. That is a lot of dilution so that management can continue to scalp the shareholders. Creditors are getting anxious. The company is not even worth $0.80 per share. Beware.

I wish success to both LWLG and POET. At today’s prices I think I’d lean toward LWLG cause management got head in right place. Poet already clued us they are still a few years away. I’d like to know if they sold any of their undeserved options or if they have hit the ATM again. They seem (imo) so very dishonest and haven’t had a decent news drop since Fin. The management of poet are there own worse enemy. If so and info comes out on options or ATM this will sink (imo).

I don’t trade but I stick around for the science. POET’s tech works, but management decimated shareholder value and I don’t trust they can take this to the next level. Extremely likely this company gets bought out for a price that won’t make many whole here IMO. Explains the urge to reprice options and some of that language in the regulatory filing was scary. Also, there’s two excellent comparable sales in the last ~6-9 months or so that can be used to value POET - Source Photonics and CloudLight. Both high end module makers pushing $250 million in revenue. Both valued at ~2-3x revenue.

For a trade though…I’m really hoping to see a push towards $10 per share. Funny money and hype can easily do that if the wind is blowing in the right direction. I won’t miss the exit this time.

Myself, I like to trade and keep the $$ flowing. But I’ve never gone out of my way to cause trouble. I’ve traded Poet for well over ten years and only really got caught holding for more time than I wished when management sold at the high and did a stupid offering. I’ve bought Poet pre split up to $1.50 per share down to teens. I’ve bought back after the split at $5 plus and got caught again for months. Averaged down buying shares down to .73 a share recently. Sold last rising tide and bought back at $2 and sold on the rise @ 3.5 or share. Will wait again now. If it goes down I’ll do it again. If it goes up then see yeah. I’ve played LWLG when it was well under a dollar also. I don’t add too much new info to you guys cause I really don’t understand the science. But my expertice is finance and management and fundamentals of trading which I’ve been doing successfully for around 40 years now. Somehow I must of pissed that person off cause he’s attacked me more than once. Like I said I’m a lover not a fighter until you attack, then watch out. I can only suggest you get a 10 year chart or MVIS if you can. Look at the low of .15 and the high of $28. Now look at today's pps for MVIS. Just a suggestion. Forget PRs, earnings, etc. Higher volume/higher pps leads to higher volume/higher pps. That''s how it works with pumps. IF this is a pump from the group I mentioned you may see a pps beyond $8.

You’ll probably cash in when the buyouts appear but I’ll be out by then. If I keep any xtra shares for laughs then my grandkids can cash in on them. Everyone have a safe and enjoyable 4th. And I will repeat what my friend told me about the PUMP on S.I. The target is around $7 to $8. It's quite a prolific group regarding their influence. I can cite MVIS from several years back. I was fortunate to get info early and make some money. PPS went from .15 low to $28. I am in POET at well below $3. IF this is anything near the MVIS pump I think we could see $12 or higher. Just a fyi. And check the MVIS chart from years past if you do not believe me. Happy 4th everyone. HAWK

My thoughts,

History says we will need news to drive this up farther, unless the newest players, MMCap and ?? were given a peek (plausible) as a quid pro quo for a positive repricing vote and a promise to hold off on any action until the repricing was approved. And they are known to play either side of the trade to their advantage.

There are a lot more lookers including the biggest players who are thirsty for 1.6/3.2T, POET has a very high level of confidence, (certainty?) of 1.6T and a clear path to 3.2T when the industry is ready. The dual demands of AI processing and hyperscalers appear legitimate.

If the short reports are accurate, somebody really wants to hold it back.

I still lack confidence, not in internal technical execution, but in the ability to manage and leverage external relationships in their favor. I think it is a weakness that is demonstrated and understood by their competitors, potential partners and customers. While the SP appears to be recovering, it’s still the same peoplein charge that flew it into the ground.

I will be surprised if POET remains a stand alone entity by the end of next year.
