Quorum Information Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE:QIS) (Quorum) announced today
that the newest addition to Quorum's suite of Dealership Management System
software products - XPRESS - has been accepted as an offering under the GM
Integrated Dealer Management System (IDMS) program in both the US and Canada.
The new system compliments Quorum's flagship product, XSELLERATOR(TM), which is
a state-of-the-art, highly-functional dealership and customer management
software product which automates, integrates and streamlines every process
across departments in a dealership.

Converting to a modern DMS platform can be a significant undertaking. XPRESS is
aimed at providing smaller dealerships with a way to quickly take advantage of a
modern platform, a central customer and vehicle database, and other essential
features of a DMS with less disruption to their business, and a lower cost of
conversion from their current system. XPRESS provides dealerships with the
option of building on to the system at their own pace as they become comfortable
with the software and are ready to embrace more sophisticated features. XPRESS
is available immediately to dealers in both the United States and Canada.

"General Motors recognizes the reality for smaller dealerships that a major
technology conversion can sometimes be intimidating. It is our goal to provide
GM Dealers with the best options to help them maximize their productivity and
profitability. Quorum's XPRESS IDMS product is an excellent alternative for
dealers in this situation," commented Scott MacGirr, GM's Business Owner for the
North American IDMS Program.

"We've found that although the benefits of moving from an older system to a new,
robust and modern DMS are enormous, for some dealers the rate and scope of the
change can be daunting. XPRESS is an excellent solution for those dealers. They
can now reap some key benefits of such a move right away, then ease into using
advanced functionality when they are ready. We are truly excited that Quorum can
now offer XPRESS as a GM IDMS product. This will help even more GM dealers to be
able take advantage of the IDMS program," commented Maury Marks, president and
CEO of Quorum.

Quorum also announced that it has granted incentive stock options to directors
and officers to purchase up to 1,035,000 common shares at $0.49 share for a
period of five (5) years. The Board Chairman and CEO did not participate in the
stock option grant.
