Sama Resources Inc. ("Sama" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that based on encouraging results from the exploration work to date, the current drilling program will be enhanced by using a second diamond drilling rig to be mobilized on-site shortly. The second rig will allow the Company to aggressively work simultaneously on the definition drilling at the Samapleu main nickel + copper + platinum members deposit, and permit further definition and exploration drilling on the newly discovered Samapleu Extension 1. This work includes testing regional geophysical targets which Sama has identified.

The second rig will also be used to drill the entire laterite profile identified last month in the Republic of Guinea at the Company's Lola project at the Gogota plateau. To date, twelve pits have been dug on a 400 metre ("m") by 400 m pattern at one of the plateaus, which has returned red limonite followed downward by asbolane-rich yellow limonite. A limitation on each pit's maximum depth prevented going through the entire laterite profile. Consequently, no saprolite facies are currently accessible. Saprolite facies will be characterized in the upcoming drilling program.

The Company is also pleased to announce that Mr. Roger Billington, P.Geo, former Director for International Nickel Laterite Exploration at Falconbridge, will be the Company's Qualified Person for the upcoming Mineral Resource estimate at the Company's Sipilou South Laterite deposit. Mr. Billington will visit the project site during the first week of June.

Drilling at the Samapleu nickel + copper + platinum deposit is ongoing and more than 7,000 m has been completed to date since November 2010. The Samapleu project is a joint venture between the Company's 100% owned subsidiary Sama Nickel Corporation (66 2/3%) and SODEMI (33 1/3%).
