businesses announces that it has signed an agreement with
San-Francisco-based Frankly
Chat ("Frankly") to collaborate on an Ephemeral Coupon
Ad Unit ("ECAU") and integrate the Frankly Chat
messaging client into the Poynt app.
The agreement is multi-faceted and will combine the expertise,
R&D and IP of both Sprylogics and Frankly to
develop an ephemeral coupon that provides a way for
advertisers to create high-value, high-impact promotions
without the risk of out-of-market redemption. The technology behind
the new ephemeral mobile coupon will be co-developed
and co-owned by both companies. In addition, Poynt will enjoy the
benefit of integrating Frankly's robust, high performance messaging
to Poynt users. A key feature of Frankly Chat is its ephemeral
nature--the chat disappears after a predetermined period, and is
not stored on messaging servers.
