Vancouver B.C. June 7, 2013: Sunridge Energy Corp. ("SRG" or the "Company") (SRG: TSX-V) held its Annual General Meeting on June 6, 2013 and is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed in the information circular were passed. In addition, all agenda items, as outlined in the circular, were approved and all directors standing for election were re-elected. The Directors for the ensuing year will consist of Mr. Gary Schellenberg, Mr. Lorne Hill, Mr. Chad Dust, Mr. Robert Lee and Mr. Jerry Huang.

Mr. Lorne Hill was reappointed President and Secretary, Mr. Gary Schellenberg was reappointed Interim Chief Executive Officer and Mr. David Gurvey was reappointed Chief Financial Officer.

"All items on our agenda received overwhelming support from the shareholders for the direction Management and the Board of Directors is taking the Company" comments Lorne Hill.

The Company will not be proceeding with the $495,000 private placement announced April 19, 2013. The Board has received shareholder mandate to consider alternative financing options to reduce corporate debt and optimize its current asset portfolio.
