Tornado Global Hydrovacs Announces Appointment of Interim Chief Financial Officer

Tornado Global Hydrovacs Ltd. (“Tornado” or the “Company”)
(TSX-V:TGH) is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2017 Mr.
Alastair Robertson was appointed to the position of Interim Chief
Financial Officer. It is anticipated that Mr. Robertson will serve
in this position until December 31, 2017, unless a permanent CFO is
appointed before then. Mr. Robertson’s appointment as Interim
Chief Financial Officer is subject to the approval of the TSX
Venture Exchange.
Mr. Robertson is an experienced financial
executive with a 30-year career in Canadian business, involved with
the founding, growing, financing and managing of several Canadian
private and public companies. Most recently he was Chief Financial
Officer of CYGAM Energy Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange listed oil and
gas company with operations in Tunisia and Italy. From 2006
to 2011 he was President of Northlinks Corporation, a consulting
firm specializing in early stage private and public companies.
Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer and a Director of
Ausam Energy Corporation, an SEC registered and TSX Venture
Exchange listed company with operations in Australia and the
USA. From 1982 to 1996, he had a 14-year career culminating
as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nowsco Well
Service Ltd., a TSX and NASDAQ listed international oilfield
service company with operations in Canada, the USA, Europe, Russia,
south east Asia and South America. He is also a former
Director and Chairman of the audit committee of Wentworth Resources
Ltd (formerly Artumas Group Inc.), an Oslo listed public company
involved in oil and gas and power generation, with operations in
East Africa. Mr. Robertson is a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

The Company designs and manufactures hydrovac
trucks in Canada and sells hydrovac trucks for excavation service
providers to the oil and gas industry and the municipal markets in
Canada and the USA. Hydrovac trucks use high pressure water to
pulverize soil and turn it into mud, and then vacuum up the
resulting mud into its tank. Tornado currently operates in North
America. The Company intends to expand its hydrovac business into
China and has established a wholly owned operation in China with a
head office in Beijing.
