VAX Vantex Resources Ltd

The management of Vantex Resources Ltd (TSX
VENTURE:VAX)(FRANKFURT:UD7A)(ALPHA:VAX) announces a drill intersection of 7.79
g/t Au over 6 metres (along the hole) corresponding to the North zone of the
Moriss showing. An additional gold section grading 8.84 g/t Au over 1.5 metres
was also intersected in this drill hole.


This hole was done to verify the dip of this gold zone intersected by drill
holes VPE10-11 (8.12 g/t Au over 24 metres including 19.06 g/t Au over 5.5
metres as well as 14.63 g/t Au over 6 metres) and VPE10-18 (7.97 g/t Au over 9
metres) and according to the interpretation, it seems that it dips to the south.
Drill hole VPE11-41 has also intersected this structure at a deeper level but
the assays have not yet been received.


Ten drill holes were performed on the Moriss showing, six of them to the north
in order to test the lateral extension of the North zone. Three drill holes were
located south-west of the Moriss zone to test gold zones previously intersected
in recent drilling campaigns. 


Drill hole VPE11-38 did not intersect any significant values while drill hole
VPE11-39 intersected the south zone with a grade of 1.17 g/t Au over 8.10
metres. This zone was previously intersected by drill holes VPE10-19 (3.52 g/t
Au over 9 metres) and VPE11-24 (1.37 g/t Au over 5.20 metres). Drill hole
VPE11-40, located in the same area of the 2 previous holes, intersected 3 gold
zones grading 48.91 g/t Au over 1.50 metres as well as 3.49 g/t Au over 1.10
metres and 2.28 g/t Au over 1.30 metres. The south area presents lower grades
compared to the Moriss zone and North zone but it shows an important gold
presence in a favorable geological environment.
